The Whole Course
The textbook consists of 478 pages and is the main part of this set.
The vocabulary consists of 118 pages and includes all the individual words and expressions that appear in the text- and workbook.
The workbook, which consists of 372 pages, will provide you with a wide selection of exercises to train your knowledge.
The CD is created to check your pronunciation and simplify the practice at home.
My Story
My name is Puneh Tavakkoly and I am a German girl of Iranian heritage. Based on that, I grew up bilingual with Farsi being my second language.
A significant step in my linguistic appropriation was my father’s book „Ich möchte Persisch lernen“, which was published in 2003.
On the one hand it was this German version of „I want to learn Persian“ that helped me to acquire a good command of the language, on the other hand it was my family in general. These experiences led me to the idea of creating this book which not only teaches the written language (which differs from the spoken language) but also corresponds with local expressions of the country.
None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary help of my father, Hossein Tavakkoly, and the knowledge of his own language classes.
